Why would I need a PC long distance card?
PC long distance cards are a convenient way to save money when making long distance calls within Canada and the USA, and to over 200 countries worldwide. With a PC long distance card you always et low long distance rates on every call so you can take control of your long distance spending.
How do PC long distance cards work?

We provide a simple toll-free 1-866 number and a Card Number to connect your calls. You can use it from anywhere* in Canada and the USA - home, office, cell phone, or payphone (local airtime charges will still apply if calling with your PC mobile phone). There are no additional fees for using the toll-free number - it's absolutely FREE. Service is provided by Bell Canada, assuring you of a reliable, high quality network.

*Calls can only originate from Canada and the USA. At this time, you cannot call to or from remote areas of northern British Columbia, Yukon, Northwest Territories, and Nunavut.

Why are there two different PC long distance cards?
One is geared for long distance calls made mostly within Canada and USA. The other option, the PC International Prepaid Long Distance card, is geared for calls made mostly to overseas. That way we can bring you our best rates for the long distance calls you make the most.
I use the 4.0¢/min. Canada-USA card to make overseas calls?

Yes, you can. However, the overseas rates with this card are slightly higher than if you use the International card for such calls. Visit our plans & features page for the full list of countries and a rate comparison..

Can I use the PC International Prepaid Long Distance card to call within Canada and the USA?

Can I use both PC long distance cards into call from the USA?
Absolutely! Please keep in mind that some carriers in the USA do not allow access to Canadian toll-free numbers. If this happens, simply try calling from another phone or dial the operator to have your call connected to us. Be sure to ask the operator if any additional charges will apply.
Is there an extra charge to use a PC long distance card from the USA?
No. PC long distance cards have no hidden fees, so you always know exactly how much you are paying.
Can I use a PC long distance card to call Canada from overseas?
With PC long distance cards, you can only call from within Canada and the USA. You cannot use a PC long distance card to call from overseas back to Canada.
Are there any calling restrictions when I use PC long distance cards?
At this time, you cannot call to or from remote areas of northern British Columbia, Yukon, Northwest Territories, and Nunavut.
How do I use my card to place a call?
Simply scratch off the shaded box on the back of the card to reveal your Card Number, which you will be asked to provide when you place your call. Dial toll-free 1-866-355-2155 from within Canada and the USA Follow the voice prompts For calls within Canada and the USA, dial area code + phone number. For International calls, dial 011 + country code + city code + phone number.
How do PC long distance cards work with a cell phone?
It's just like placing a call with any other phone, except your cellular service provider will charge you for any applicable cellular air time and service charges. Also, several overseas destinations do have higher rates for calls placed to cellular phones. Please contact our customer service at 1-87-PCT-INFO-1 (1-877-284-6361) for more information.
When do my funds expire?
PC long distance cards do not expire. However, once the card is activated, stated terms of use (including time limitation on use of account credits) still apply. You can check your card's account credit expiry date anytime by calling 1-87-PCT-INFO-1 (1-877-284-6361) or by registering your account online at pc.ca/longdistance.
How can I check the balance on my card?
When you enter your PC long distance card number at the beginning of every call, the system will tell you the remaining balance on that card, then tell you how many minutes you can talk based on that balance. You can also check your card balance anytime by calling 1-87-PCT-INFO-1 (1-877-284-6361) or by registering your account online at pc.ca/longdistance.
Can I transfer my balance to another card?
Yes, you can transfer a remaining balance from an old PC long distance card to a new card prior to the account credit expiry date. Please keep in mind that the two cards must be the same type; you cannot transfer a balance from a 4.0¢/minute Canada-USA card to an International card or vice versa. To transfer a balance, simply call Customer Service toll-free at 1-87-PCT-INFO-1 (1-877-284-6361) and follow the voice prompts for Card Linking Feature.

Are there any Terms & Conditions on PC long distance cards that I should know about?
Keep in mind that once you purchase a PC long distance card, it is instantly activated for use. Be sure to keep it in a safe place as there is no refund or replacement for a lost or stolen card or for unauthorized use of the service. To learn more, visit our Terms & Conditions section.
What is a "premium line" and where can I find those rates?
Several overseas destinations charge a higher rate for calls to premium service lines, such as some hospitals and universities. To confirm if the number you are calling is considered a premium line and to check the rate, please call our Customer Service at 1-87-PCT-INFO-1 (1-877-284-6361).
Can I top up the card I have and keep the same card number?
Anytime before the account credits expire, you can top up your existing card using a major credit card online at www.pc.ca/longdistance or by calling our Customer Service at 1-87-PCT-INFO-1 (1-877-284-6361).
What happens to my expiry date when I top up or use the card linking features?
Your expiry date is extended by 6 months whenever you top up your account or link to a new PC long distance card.
